제이무브먼트 아트스페이스 & 갤러리(J. Movement Art Space & Gallery)는 지역의 다양한 시각적 모색과 이야기를 담아내고자 2021년부터 개관된 공간입니다. 젊은 작가들이 함께 연대할 수 있는 연결의 장과, 미술비평과 사회적 담론을 탐구하고 공유하는 기착지를 제공하고자 하는 여러 마음들을 모아 출발했습니다. 우리 사회의 모든 현상과 가치를 날카롭게 바라볼 수 있는 모든 작가와 비평가들에게 열린 공간을 목표로, 전시 뿐 아니라 비평과 세미나, 워크숍 등의 프로그램을 기획하고 제공하며, 모든 활동은 아카이브로 기록됩니다. 다른 공간과의 협업과 네트워크를 통해 지역 간 거리도 좁히는 역할도 하고자 합니다. 무엇보다 다원화되고 다학제적인 오늘날의 동시대 미술의 형태들과 그 세계를 관객들에게 친근하게 제공하는 장소가 되길 바랍니다.

J. Movement Art Space & Gallery is a space that opened in 2021 with the aim of capturing the diverse visual explorations and narratives of the local community. It has brought together the aspirations of various individuals who seek to provide a platform for young artists to unite in solidarity and explore and share art criticism and social discourse. With the goal of offering an open space for all artists and critics who can critically examine and reflect upon every aspect and value of our society, the space not only hosts exhibitions but also plans and provides programs such as critiques, seminars, and workshops, all of which are documented in an archive. It also seeks to facilitate collaboration and networks with other spaces, thereby bridging the gaps between different regions. Above all, the space aspires to be a place that offers a friendly encounter with the diverse and interdisciplinary forms of contemporary art and its world to the audience.
